Introduction

Gajar ka halwa is a combination of nut, milk, Khoya, sugar, and ghee. carrot halwa is also known as gajar ka halwa and gajrela. Gajar ka halwa is a slow-cooked traditional pudding. Wedding, party, or any other occasion this is always seen on the menu.

Ingredients

  • Carrot
  • Milk
  • Milk Fat(Balai)
  • Green Cardamom
  • Desi Ghee
  • Sugar
  • Khoya
  • Dry Fruits

Working

  1. Cook. Take a pan add grated carrot, milk, milk fat(Balai), and green cardamom. start cook on medium flame.when carrot cooks well and milks until dry. Then add sugar according to your taste.
  2. When cooked well add the oil/desi ghee. and again well cook.
  3. After ready gajar ka halwa set aside for 10-20 min and add khoya 
  4. Mix well carrot halwa is ready we bring out halwa in the bowl.
  5. Garnishing. Add khoya and any type of dry fruits for garnishing.
